Manager - Freshwater Farms Brood Facility
Marine Harvest Canada is seeking applications for the challenging position of Manager of our Freshwater Farms brood facility, located in Duncan. Maintaining a healthy brood stock is critical to the future success of our farming operations. Reporting to the Brood Program Manager, the Manager of FWF will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and efficient production of excellent quality salmon eggs at a low cost while maintaining a safe and environmentally sustainable work environment at the Freshwater Farms facility.
Incubation Supervisor - Sayward South Hatchery
The Incubation Supervisor is responsible for the properly timed delivery and accurate inventory of eggs and planning of egg and Alevin movements prior to season to ensure production plan requirements are met. You will supervise all staff and activities in the incubation room, ensuring best practices are implemented, staff training to MH standards is completed, maintenance, adjustment and upkeep of systems are completed and related administrative tasks (FishTalk) are fulfilled. This is a hands-on position and will require working closely with staff. You will report and work closely to the Hatchery Manager while supporting the provision of a safe, ethical, and positive work environment for staff that meets or exceeds Company standards in the areas of environmental sustainability and health and safety.
Harvest Manager
Marine Harvest Canada is recruiting for the challenging position of Harvest Manager. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director and working closely with key staff in Production, Fish Health and Processing departments as well as 3rd party harvest boat contractors, the Harvest Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of harvest operations. You will ensure that harvest activities meet or exceed all quality, food safety, health and safety and environmental sustainability standards and are achieved within a defined cost structure.
Fleet Manager (Marine Services Manager) - Campbell River
Marine Harvest Canada is recruiting for the challenging position of Fleet Manager. Reporting to the Production Support Manager, you will manage MHC vessels and crew in the provision of services to support our farming operations. The fleet includes 3 well boats utilized for fish transfers and a tug-and-barge operation that supports farm infrastructure projects and maintenance activities.
